A Little About Us...

At the Plymouth Church of Christ, we take seriously the obligation to life faithfully according to the living Word of God. In our worship, we open the Scriptures again and again, for these are the words of life. In our decision making, we strive to adhere to the wisdom of those who have gone before. And, in all things, we keep the commandments by our commitment to loving God, neighbor, friend and enemy. We also recognize that the most perfect fulfillment of the Word came from the one who is the Word, the incarnation of God, Jesus the Christ. All attempts to live by the Word, then, must take into account the life of Jesus. Furthermore, it is the Body of Christ - animated by the Spirit of Christ - that is able to most faithfully interpret the word. Within these confines we have freedom to pursue joy, peace and holiness. As individuals and as a community it is our purpose to use this freedom for the glory of God and the good of his Kingdom. And as long as it is called Today, we extend an invitation to all God’s children to enter the Reign of God.
